Lights Out (Book Review)

Book review on Lights Out by David Crawford.

Wow! Here I was thinking that One Second After was a great book. Well, perhaps they both are. lol

I really loved this book! The author does a great job on the character development, especially when compared to One Second After. While One Second After was a great book, the character development was somewhat lacking.

There were a few things that drove me crazy, but I loved this book and spent every free second I had reading it. I just kept reading until I finished it.

One of the things that drove me the craziest was the unlikely amount of available cash and silver the two main characters had available. For most of us, that is just not going to happen.

Although, I do understand the necessity of it for the development of the story. Many things in the book wouldn’t have been possible without the additional resources, but it still drove me nuts.

I would recommend this book to everybody I know. Love, love, love it!

Bug-out Worthy? Nope, read it before.
Worth reading? Definitely!

From Amazon:

Lights Out chronicles the challenges of Mark “Karate Man” Turner when the lights go out over most of the free world. He must find in himself the ability to unite his family, friends, and neighbors if any of them are to survive the harsh reality that everyday life becomes when the veneer of civilization is stripped away.
